Intake Process

Below are the steps in becoming a resident at IDt:

Call and be interviewed by phone (this can be a parent or spouse if potential resident is in Jail)

Potential resident writes a letter to Eric Lashbrook, IDt Director. Include in this letter:

  • Past events
  • Current situation
  • Why you want to be in a faith based residential facility
  • Willingness to make a 30-36 month commitment
  • Name of judge and lawyer
  • Sentence and/or next court date

Your letter and interview will be reviewed and if you seem to be a candidate, the IDt Director will visit you in jail or set up a face to face interview.
