Founders, Eric and Donna Lashbrook married in 1987 and have three children. Eric and Donna started IDt in 2004, after 12 years of serving as youth leaders and working with various youth organizations across the United States and in Haiti. Eric and Donna saw the devastation that drugs were taking on their hometown, and God led them to begin reaching young people suffering from addiction, many of them already in the prison system. They have led many young men and women to find a life of freedom, both physically and spiritually, through Jesus Christ. After more than 30 years in full-time ministry, Eric and Donna chose to step down in 2020 and have since retired.
